INFANT PROGRAM
JONAS DAY CARE infant program is designed to create a warm, loving and secure environment for your child. Providing peaceful sleeping space as well as one on one play and nurturing time. At JONAS DAY CARE we spend time cuddling and talking o your infant to instill trust and build a healthy relationship. We interact and guide your infant with age appropriate play time to provide a healthy early learning environment for movement, exploration and communication. We sing songs and read stories to encourage language acquisition and enjoy play time experiences that help boost cognitive and motor skills. We provide an infant daily log to develop your child’s daily schedule including naptime, play time and feedings. We help your child transition from infant to toddler as your growing child learns new sounds, signs language, vocabulary, and fine/gross motor skills .Your infant is in a very special place at JONAS DAY CARE.
TODDLER PROGRAM
JONAS DAY CARE toddler program provides a safe, fun and active learning environment. Your toddler will enjoy a daily balance of learning and social activities, music and movement and plenty of outdoor climbing, running and jumping. We encourage your child to explore and learn through play with blocks and puzzles, creative art and imaginary play. We enjoy books each day through circle time and incorporating stories and songs that encourage language skills. Your toddler will practice hand washing, putting on/taking off their own socks, shoes, and coats, picking up toys and sharing with friends. Your toddler will experience healthy peer interaction while participating in activities that strengthen gross motor skills, such as balancing, catching, bouncing, and standing on tip-toes; and fine motor skills through drawing, painting, and coloring. Your toddler will explore through parallel play and gain confidence, learn problem solving, and self awareness all in a safe and nurturing preschool setting with adult guided participation.
PRESCHOOL PROGRAM
JONAS DAY CARE provides a great preschool program. Your preschooler will continue build and learn from their toddler experienes through play, exploration and structured activities. Imagine watching your child flourish from an infant to a toddler to an independent preschooler! Educational and fun activities create the stepping stones for your child’s preschool educational success. Working daily with language, math, science, dramatic play, music and creative art provides opportunities to balance both shared and independent learning experiences. Your preschooler is introduced to cognitive skills such as sequencing and matching; social skills in similarities and diversity; and language art skills of storytelling and writing. We provide opportunities for your child to develop self confidence, self-help skills, practice decision making, responsibility, and manners; these are all incorporated into your preschooler’s daily schedule.
